PETA Myths

PETA has gotten a bad reputation from PETA haters, such as Penn and Teller and the Center for Consumer Freedom. They say PETA funds the Animal Liberation Front, an excellent underground direct action animal rights group. The ALF have been responsible for freeing countless animals and saving countless lives. They burned down testing labs and factory farms. Penn and Teller says that PETA funds "terrorism". First of all, PETA never has. PETA does support direct action, but never funded it. If that happened, the government wouldn't hesitate to raid their headquarters and arrest their workers. Also, it would be impossible, because the ALF has no membership. Third, who is the real terrorist, the ALF, or the vivisectors and animal killers. The ALF saves lives, not destroys them. In fact, nobody has ever been killed or even injured in an ALF raid. I can't stress this enough, don't believe advertisers!
